Job DescriptionYOUR TASKS
We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional to support our tire mixing and testing operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong understanding of tire components and lab procedures, this role is for you.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Read and interpret specifications and follow safety, quality, and environmental standards.Perform compound testing including ash, adhesion, gravity, and raw material exposure.Operate Mixing Management Systems (MMS) and control panel interfaces (manual and automatic).Record and evaluate test results using the Continental Lab System in compliance with ISO/TS 16949.Sample and test mixed and calendered compounds per plant QMS requirements.Use hand tools and gauging devices to monitor product quality and ensure adherence to tolerances.React promptly to equipment issues and report extraordinary conditions to supervision.Maintain lab cleanliness following 5S principles and ensure lab compliance with CCC scope.Operate a forklift if required and move materials including die rheometers.Communicate effectively, follow instructions, and demonstrate strong computer and component knowledge.Support the Continental Business System (CBS) structure by participating in the applicable CBT meeting, reviewing and managing his/her/team performance, conducting simple problem-solving using action sheets, identifying and implementing improvement opportunities, participating in the CBT reviews, and taking ownership for presented parts of the team boardsFollow the internal ESH work instructions in the daily workDemonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate othersEnsure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazardsOther duties as assignedNOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.
