Composite Technician
**Job Description** We are seeking a Entry level Composite Technician to join our team at BAE Systems Inc. As a Composite Technician, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and testing composite materials and structures used in various defense applications. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies. + Fabricate, assemble, and test composite materials and structures according to specifications and drawings + Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents + Operate various composite manufacturing equipment, such as autoclaves, presses, and sanders + Conduct quality control checks and inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards + Troubleshoot and resolve composite manufacturing issues + Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve manufacturing processes and product quality + Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Education: High school diploma or equivalent required + Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in composite manufacturing, fabrication, or a related field + Skills:Knowledge of composite materials, manufacturing processes, and testing methodsFamiliarity with engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesBasic math skills and ability to read and write clearly **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in composite manufacturing, fabrication, or a related field + Basic knowledge of composite materials, manufacturing processes, and testing methodsKnowledge or Experience with specialized composite manufacturing equipment (e.g., filament winding, braiding)Knowledge or Experience with quality control and inspection techniquesFamiliarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering toolsLeadership or supervisory experience **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $36367 - $58187 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
