Job Title: Composite Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Composite Technician to join a growing manufacturing company that is relocating to Manchester, CT. This position involves working on manufacturing propellers for aircrafts. The role will initially be based in Manchester, CT. If additional training is required, candidates may travel to Berlin for 4-8 weeks. The Manchester facility aims to be fully operational by December 1st. This is a permanent direct hire position offering benefits and room for growth.

ResponsibilitiesFollow general instructions and sketches to manufacture composite parts.Perform assembly, fabrication, and utilize hand tools for creating composite components.Engage in repetitive tasks and maintain cleanliness of the workstation.Collaborate with supervisors to address any arising issues.Operate equipment such as hand knives, automated power or hand cutters, and injection mold presses.Record all fabrication or machine operating parameters accurately.Use inspection devices such as protractors, calipers, micrometers, tapes, tension or weight scales, and gauges.Essential SkillsProficiency with basic hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and hand knives.Strong attention to detail and good hand dexterity.Ability to read and write English fluently due to paperwork requirements.Comfortable with repetitive work.Willingness to travel to Berlin for training if necessary.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience as a nail technician, sewer, or seamstress is ideal.Possess a positive attitude and mechanical knowledge.U.S. citizenship and valid identification are required.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $68640.00/yr.

The Manchester facility is state of the art, clean, climate controlled, first shift
VERY generous benefits. Subsidized cost of benefits by 75%. Employees also have the option to apply for a cheaper plan. 3 weeks of PTO (prorated for new hires).
Shut down between Christmas and NYE that's paid for
401K 3 % contribution regardless of your tenure
11 paid federal holidays
