Summary: Seeking a Composite Manufacturing Engineer to support the development and full-rate production of liquid-fueled, all-composite rockets.
Manufacturing engineering expertise
Knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes
Bachelor's Degree required
Experience with Lean and Six Sigma principles preferred
Responsibilities:
Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and production equipment for aerospace composite components
Select materials and manufacturing processes aligned with aerospace standards
Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost
Own hardware development and production timelines
Implement innovative tooling and fixturing solutions
Serve as SME for part fabrication and hardware intricacies
Create standardized work instructions and procedures
Resolve nonconformance issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams for seamless integration
Manage manufacturing programs to meet quality, cost, and schedule goals
Identify and solve production challenges to ensure timely delivery
Maintain rigorous quality control aligned with industry standards
Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising product integrity
Promote continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma principles
Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
