**Job Title: Composite Door Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Composite Door Mechanic to join our team on the first shift, working Monday through Thursday with optional overtime on Fridays. The role involves completing assembly processes for sheet metal parts according to specifications and blueprints, ensuring high-quality workmanship. **Responsibilities** + Verify tooling is correct and load details into tools. + Utilize drill bushings and drill blocks for accurate drilling. + Load details into jigs for drilling and ream close tolerance holes. + Inspect close tolerance components and prepare for sealing techniques. + Apply appropriate sealant and assemble sealed components using Cleco fasteners. + Install fasteners and remove excess sealant from assemblies. + Conduct final inspection and fill out paperwork as required. + Seek guidance and report work status and potential issues to supervisors. + Maintain a neat and orderly work area, adhering to company confidentiality and grooming standards. + Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors. **Essential Skills** + Ability to understand and follow blueprints and process specifications. + Proficiency in sealing techniques and using applicable measurement instruments. + Experience in composite and close tolerance hole drilling. + Attention to detail and basic shop math skills. + Capability to stand, grip tools, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED required. + Blueprint reading class required. + Preferred experience includes 1 year in rivet/sheet metal and composite assembly. + Manufacturing experience and interior installation preferred. + Knowledge of bushings and bearings installation. **Why Work Here?** Experience the benefits of working in a family-owned company known for its great culture and long-standing employees.
