Key Responsibilities:

Core Component Design:

Design and develop core steam turbine components (forged, casted & fabricated) with consideration for performance, durability, cost, and ease of manufacturing and service.Generate detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and bills of materials (BOMs).

Engineering Analysis:

•                     Perform, form, fit and function studies to ensure design integrity and compatibility.

Issue Resolution:

Evaluate non-conformance reports (NCRs) and define corrective actions.Troubleshoot manufacturing deviations and field issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

Documentation & Communication :

•                     Maintain comprehensive design documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.2-5 years of experience component design, in steam turbine design or similar rotating equipment is plusProficiency in CAD (e.g., Siemens NX, AutoCAD) 2-5 years of experience.Excellent problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience with manufacturing processes and service engineering is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter), SAP.Knowledge of industry standards (ASME, ISO, DIN).
