The Embassy Suites Los Angeles South is currently hiring a Complimentary Bar Attendant. This role is responsible for setting and clearing Evening Reception tables; stock all service stations and assist bartenders with initial preparation and restocking of the complimentary bar.

What will I be doing?

\n

As a Bar Attendant, you would be responsible for setting and clearing Evening Reception tables; stock all service stations and assist bartenders with the initial preparation and restocking of the complimentary bar. 

\n\nSet and maintain stock and cleanliness of food stations for service period with necessary food and equipment including sliverware, napkins and condiments. \nClears tables and wipes down chairs, moves tables and chairs, cleans floor as necessary. \nChecks and assists bartenders in maintaining adequate amounts of supplies, i.e., stir sticks, napkins, straws, glassware, etc. Replaces and performs routine maintenance requirements on heavy beer kegs.\nTransports all dirty tableware from Evening Reception area to dishwashing area for proper cleaning. \nMaintains cleanliness of bar area, beer lockers, refrigeration and storage areas to comply with health code standards.\nScoops ice from ice bins, transports to service areas and replenishes ice containers for usage. \n\n

The starting wage for this role is $18.00 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

\n\nAbility to understand and communicate English to comprehend and respond to basic guest requests.\nAbility to understand written English to read any caution or safety notices. \nAbility to grip, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 50lbs through crowded room. \nSufficient manual dexterity of hands in order to use a knife, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, tap kegs and extend arms overhead to stock items. \nAbility to perform duties within temperature ranges, from normal to refrigerated. \nHigh School graduate or equivalent preferred, but not necessary.\nSome hospitality experience preferred.\nFood Serice Sanitation Certification required.\n\n
