Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Specialist to join our team in Boston Heights, Ohio. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for professionals with substantial knowledge of international compliance practices, government regulations, and border agency requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while showcasing expertise in administrative tasks and regulatory processes.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Compliance Management: Oversee compliance activities related to international borders and ensure strict adherence to government regulations and agency requirements.
+ Administrative Support: Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry, document preparation, and maintaining compliance records.
+ Inbound Communication: Respond to phone calls and inquiries, offering accurate, timely, and professional guidance on compliance issues.
+ Team Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to address compliance-related challenges and identify practical solutions.
+ Data Analysis: Utilize Microsoft Office tools, with a strong emphasis on Excel, to analyze, organize, and track compliance data effectively.
+ Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about relevant regulations and policies to ensure ongoing alignment with current standards.
+ On-Site Presence: Work on-site three days per week to support office compliance functions and maintain operational workflows.
+ Documentation Review: Conduct detailed reviews of documentation to verify accuracy and compliance.
+ Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal stakeholders and external agencies to address compliance matters effectively.
+ Office Coordination: Provide assistance with receptionist and office coordination duties as needed.
Requirements • Proven experience in administrative roles, particularly in compliance-related fields.
• Strong knowledge of international regulations, border agency requirements, and government policies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data organization and analysis.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team efforts.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external agencies.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in managing compliance documentation.
• Availability to work on-site three days a week.
