Overview
We are seeking a Mailroom Coordinator to support daily office and site operations by managing incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries. This role ensures materials, documents, and shipments are received, tracked, and delivered accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
1. Mail & Package Handling
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packagesPrepare and send outgoing shipments (mail, packages, courier)Coordinate urgent deliveries and pickups2. Vendor & Delivery Coordination
Communicate with delivery vendors (FedEx, UPS, local couriers)Track shipments and resolve delivery issuesArrange pickups or coordinate delivery schedules as needed3. Inventory & Supply Support
Monitor office and site supply levels (tools, materials, consumables)Assist with ordering and restocking suppliesHelp ensure items are available when needed4. Tracking & Documentation
Maintain logs of incoming/outgoing packagesTrack deliveries and confirm accuracy of shipmentsKeep records of receipts and shipping documentation5. Site & Team Support
Work with office staff and field teams to coordinate deliveriesSupport urgent requests and same-day needsCommunicate effectively to prioritize tasksJob Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Schaumburg, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
