Education & CertificationBachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
Professional certifications preferred:
OSHA 30-Hour Certification
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent
Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) is a plus
ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in safety, compliance, or risk management within retail, fuel, or multi-site operations
Proven track record of managing regulatory compliance programs and workplace safety initiatives
Experience conducting audits, investigations, and implementing corrective actions
Knowledge & SkillsStrong understanding of federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, ADA, labor laws, tobacco/alcohol sales)
Familiarity with California-specific employment and safety laws
Ability to develop and enforce policies and procedures across diverse teams
Excellent communication and training facilitation skills
Proficiency in compliance and safety management systems (e.g., NAVEX, Workday, incident tracking platforms)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally
$95,000-$115,000 Annual
