Airswift is currently looking for a Compliance ANALYST to work with our Client O&G Operator.

Position Summary
The Compliance & ESEC Officer plays a key role in ensuring the effective implementation of the Ethics, Compliance, and Export Control (ESEC) program for the Iraq affiliate. Operating in a high?risk and highly regulated environment, the job holder must navigate complex internal and external factors—including anti?corruption risks, economic sanctions, and regulatory constraints—to help establish and maintain compliant local operations.
This role requires strong coordination with internal departments, local authorities, and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to corporate policies, international regulations, and local requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Compliance Program Implementation Support the deployment and monitoring of the compliance program for Iraq. Conduct ABC (Anti?Bribery & Corruption) Due Diligence for approximately 500 suppliers annually, using tools such as TC?3D, IndueD, WorldCheck, and AI?based systems. Liaise with internal departments and project teams to gather necessary documentation and assist them in performing due diligence activities. 2. ESEC Program Coordination Support and coordinate with the ESEC Manager on the rollout of the ESEC Compliance program. Perform ESEC due diligences for new supplier onboarding and renewals when required. 3. Training & Awareness Monitor compliance e-learning, classroom training, and related awareness initiatives. Maintain and update compliance communication platforms (SharePoint, Teams channels, training materials, flyers, videos, etc.). 4. Reporting & Monitoring Prepare periodic compliance reports, highlight potential anomalies, and track corrective actions. Ensure the proper use and follow?up of compliance monitoring tools. 5. Documentation & Process Development Draft and update procedures, guidelines, manuals, and templates related to Ethics & Compliance activities. Support the creation of local processes and practices during the affiliate’s establishment phase.
Health, Safety, Security & Environment (H3SE) Demonstrate exemplary behavior by respecting Company rules and H3SE standards. Report accidents, incidents, and near?misses, and contribute to corrective measures.
Qualifications & Background
Education Master’s degree (BAC+5) or equivalent recognized professional experience. Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in Compliance, ESEC, Finance, or Audit—preferably within the oil & gas industry. International experience is required. Skills & Competencies Strong analytical, problem?solving, and organizational skills. Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and manage multiple stakeholders. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Languages Fluent English (required) Excellent proficiency in Arabic and English is essential.
