Role Summary
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Compliance Analyst to support an accounting team focused on labor compliance across multiple active projects. This role reports to a senior accounting leader and plays a critical part in ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local labor standards, including prevailing wage, certified payroll, and apprenticeship requirements.
The analyst will help mitigate compliance risk, support eligibility for incentive programs, and contribute to smooth project execution through accurate documentation, auditing, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and interpret prevailing wage and labor compliance regulations, including federal, state, and local wage determinations and apprenticeship requirements.
Review certified payroll reports (CPRs) for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable labor standards.
Validate worker classifications to ensure alignment with wage determinations and defined scopes of work.
Audit payroll documentation, including timesheets, pay statements, fringe benefit records, and apprenticeship participation.
Track apprenticeship utilization to ensure compliance with applicable mandates and program requirements.
Communicate with subcontractors and internal partners to resolve discrepancies, request documentation, and clarify compliance expectations.
Maintain organized compliance records to support internal reviews, external audits, and incentive or regulatory verification.
Prepare clear and concise compliance reports for project stakeholders, legal partners, and leadership teams.
Support project onboarding by educating subcontractors on prevailing wage requirements and documentation standards.

Qualifications:
• Experience with prevailing wage compliance, labor compliance, payroll auditing, or related regulatory roles.
• Familiarity with IRA prevailing wage & apprenticeship requirements.
• Strong understanding of construction labor classifications
• Proficiency with certified payroll systems (e.g., LCPtracker, SURGE).

This is a Contract position based out of Middletown, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
