ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Compliance activities

Internal Control Manual Assessment (ICMA) & Minimum Anticorruption Questionnaire (MAQ)Prepare and animate the quarterly meetings on ICMA controls and yearly meeting on MAQ controls.Ensure the follow-up of decided actions, sharing of best practices and harmonization of processes across the areaInternal Control Questionnaire (ICQ)Prepare and animate the annual meeting on ICQ reports. Follow-up on the process improvement and formalization of the Level 1 controls.Ensure the follow-up of decided actions, sharing of best practices and harmonization of processes across the areaMeans of payment / cash controlsSupport the organization in ensuring means of payment are fully controlled and reconciled: Bank POA, purchasing cards (if any), petty cash, employees and Government Relations Office advances.Control on a quarterly basis the bank reconciliations in the different entities.Coordinate and consolidate the quarterly reports on the above topics.

General Data Protection RegulationAs part of the implementation (GDPR), acts as a Data Protection Referee for the area for the Finance function in support of the Group Finance Data Protection CorrespondentOverall :Supports the CFO´s in preparing internal audits (ICQ, ICMA, YAL, GDPR)To promote further enhance the compliance culture, perform regular awareness trainings to all relevant stakeholders in relation to his/her scope of responsibilities

Processes & Tools :

Further to compliance controls findings, support if necessary the implementation of decided actions. It may pass for instance by a change in processes/ procedures and involve other functions / stakeholders than financeSupport CFOs in transformation actions, be they local, regional or initiated by Corporate/ DGDI.Ad-hoc subject or project not covered by a CFO or in support of them

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Extensive experience in Finance (accounting, controlling, financing, tax, Financial Statement etc..). Knowledge of Thales processes may help.

QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Master’s/Bachelor’s in Finance Management or similar
