Embedded within the Operations Team as part of a wider Enterprise - your mission will be to manage Complex Tasks to enhance the capabilities of Defence’s F/A-18 Super Hornet and EA-18 Growler Fleet in support of achieving Defence’s capability outcomes.

The role of the Complex Task Manager is to work within a team and help the customer understand complex problems that arise within the sustainment program and how best to move forward to a successful outcome. The role relies heavily on strong communication skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships across a vast Enterprise of various Defence Contractors working together to support capability.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and management of all assigned tasks within the Operations Team.Embodied in this role is the responsibility and accountability for ensuring that all task goals are achieved, all customer expectations are met or exceeded.Responsible for maintaining and improving customer/client satisfaction.Responsible for planning, control and reporting of tasks.Coordination of task deliverables as per requirements.Provide key communication and stakeholder engagement and management for assigned tasks.Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
A Tertiary or Trade Qualification relevant to aircraft maintenanceA minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Defence Aviation maintenance environmentTertiary Qualification in Project Management or equivalentProven understanding of the defence environment - with a minimum of 2 years' in Project Management and / or Engineering/Maintenance on Defence sustainment support projectsProven high standard of written and verbal communication skillsAbility to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearanceAbility to meet the requirements of Raytheon Certified PM Ready or Leading at Level 5 in Acquisition and SustainmentUnderstanding of financial cost control utilising earned value principlesYou must be and Australian citizen and/or eligible to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as needed.
