Completion and Well Intervention Engineer
Accountabilities 

To plan, design and coordinate completion & well Intervention operations in order to optimize production and injection on ALS in a safe and cost-effective way. To provide technical support to CWI department for Well Intervention and Completion (equipment and services). To occasionally support the Drilling&Wells Department through the tendering and procurement of equipment and services required for the execution of completion & intervention operations and ensure that the service quality received from contractors meets NOC values as well as operational requirements.

Activities 
  Writing of well intervention and completion programs for safe, technically sound and cost efficient operations. Writing of the Completion and Workover program writing and engineering tasks (incl. T&D) For Work-Over activities: Liaise with Well Performance and Asset Team (Opportunities Maturation Team) so that valid WO candidates are provided. Ensure that safe and viable WO solutions are proposed. Manages contracts linked to Well Intervention and Completion activity, including procurements and invoices for contracts under its responsibility. Ensure when planning and preparing operations including programme writing that all relevant parties are informed and involved as required prior to job initiation. Such parties are Petroleum Engineering, Production (on- and offshore), Well Interventions internally, various Contractors etc. Ensure that job programmes are prepared and distributed in due time according to Guidelines for Writing Programmes in Well Interventions Production Operations Ensure that the Well Interventions offshore supervisors on the job are fully briefed about the job programme and actively support the planned activities, including continuous information of programme changes.   Ensure good communication with CWI offshore supervisors and other relevant parties regarding results/ deviations from the original program. Communicate with thim/her what equipment needs to be IFT, back loaded or sent to other destinations. Check and ensure that offshore reporting including NPT (Non Productive Time) is done correctly and adequately on a daily basis. Participate in meetings where relevant and required e.g. CWI morning, weekly & monthly meeting, asset related meetings etc…  Ensure that operational risks are assessed and that necessary measures taken to mitigate operational risks and that contingencies have been evaluated and implemented.                Coordinate personnel requirements within CWI and with Contractors. Organize and arrange for necessary equipment and materials to be shipped offshore. Ensure that vital equipment consumed/installed/scrapped is reordered. File programs and other relevant information in the relevant well file system. Upon completion of jobs, thoroughly discuss job with CWI offshore supervisor to capture lessons learnt with respect to safety, health and operational aspects. Ensure that lessons learnt with respect to safety, health and operational aspects are recorded and forwarded for continuous improvement in: Technical memos including new technologies Reports including digital reporting Update of procedures and guidelines Future job programs Participation to any GHG reduction & energy efficiency initiative promoting a low carbon culture within NOC Forward feedback on each contractor's performance to relevant person in preparation for contractor Service Quality meetings. Supports technically the selection of equipment used in Completion & Well intervention operations to ensure success of operation. Provides support and expertise for tenderers’ processes, including any pre-qualification exercises, technical evaluations and obtains relevant management / tender board approvals. Qualifications
Profile required: Basic knowledge of completion & well intervention (completion, slick line, Electric line, CT, pumping, treatments, wellhead maintenance) equipment, technology and workflows. Management of service companies. Basic knowledge of wells (completion) and workovers equipment.  Knowledge on intelligent completion technology and control line management. Fully autonomous. Knowledge of equipment requests and mobilization process. Ability to participate in CFT.
Level and type of initial higher education: Mechanical Engineering degree or equiv.
Number of years of relevant experience: 5 yrs in Oilfield – Offshore exposure 1yr min
Technical, personal and / or linguistic competencies: fluent English compulsory, Good communication skills
Professional or HSE certifications: IWCF level 4
