Job Description
As a Compensation Specialist, your day-to-day will involve partnering closely with HR Business Partners and leadership to ensure competitive and compliant compensation practices. You’ll evaluate new and reclassified positions, analyze salary structures, and provide guidance on job descriptions and FLSA status. Regular tasks include conducting market and cost-of-living analyses, administering salary programs, and supporting short- and long-term incentive design. You’ll collaborate with recruiting to develop competitive offers, perform ad-hoc compensation analyses, and assist with special projects. Staying current on legislative changes, delivering compensation training, and occasionally supporting benefits administration are also part of your routine. Throughout, you’ll ensure all programs align with company policies and drive fairness and effectiveness across the organization

Skills and Requirements
-5+ years of experience in Salary Administration and Job Evaluation
-Project Management Experience
-Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field -CCP certifications.
-Strong functional expertise in compensation program design and administration.
-Excellent analytic skills
-Working knowledge of government regulations that apply to benefit programs (ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, HCRA).
-Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to interpret contractual language into easily understandable text; comfortable in group presentations and negotiations.
-Strong software skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HR systems.
