Compensation Projects Manager
Job Title: Compensation Projects Manager Location: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid – On-site 2 days per week) Job Summary We are seeking a Compensation Projects Manager to lead key initiatives across compensation, benefits, and performance management. This role will partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, and leadership teams to ensure seamless execution of compensation cycles, year-end awards, and strategic projects. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where flexibility and initiative are valued. Responsibilities: + Compensation Cycle Execution + Maintain and manage Oracle compensation planning tools. + Prepare and deliver training materials for compensation processes. + Track compensation budgets and prepare roll-up summaries. + Support communication efforts and ensure accurate payout of awards. + Performance Management Support + Develop Power BI dashboards to facilitate performance tracking. + Translate performance ratings into compensation outcomes. + Year-End Awards Planning + Coordinate nominations and curate submissions for leadership review. + Organize and manage logistics for awards ceremonies. + Talent Acquisition Partnership + Collaborate with recruiting teams to align offers with compensation strategy. + Ensure market competitiveness and consistency in compensation packages. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred. + 4+ years of experience in compensation, HR operations, or related roles. + Strong proficiency in Power BI, Oracle, and PeopleSoft. + Experience with compensation analysis tools (e.g., Payfactor). + Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wear multiple hats. Work Environment: + Hybrid: On-site 2 days per week in Cambridge, MA. + Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM, business casual. + Culture: Strong emphasis on collaboration, psychological safety, and valuing opinions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cambridge, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $95.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
