Position Summary:

Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional partners to deliver competitive and analytically-driven compensation programs aligned with Athletico’s compensation philosophy and values.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The below  is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization.

Work with VP, Total Rewards on a variety of projects related to the development of salary structures, job evaluations, incentive plans, and organizational structures.Manages, leads and administers the annual review process for merit and incentive awards as well as monthly and quarterly incentive calculations and special incentives.Assist with the design analysis on new compensation programs including incentive design, salary structure design, and job title schemes.Analyzes internal and external salary and wage data, completes job evaluations, and recommends pay ranges and job titles in accordance with established company structure and guidelines Ensures that base pay, incentive pay and performance management programs remain competitive and conform to current compensation strategyDrafts and coordinates communication of compensation messaging and announcements related to annual salary and wage planning, routine compensation analyses, and related initiativesPrepares and maintains company-wide job description records; develops and maintains job description reference libraryDevelops and implements Compensation tools for leaders, HRBPs and TA as applicableCompletes third party market and salary survey submissions; manages internal survey libraryDevelop and document procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (ex. FLSA, DOL, and EEOC).Develop and manage staff through on‐boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation.

Qualifications:

Education:Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Accounting or FinanceWork Experience:7 years of Compensation experience.3 years progressive leadership responsibilities in a dynamic environment requiredCompensation systems experience and HCM systems background required. Experience with ADP, CompXL, and similar systems preferred.Knowledge and Technical Skills:Strong computer skills with Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications.Experience designing and implementing multiple, complex, and diverse compensation solutions.Demonstrated ability working with and influencing cross-functional teams as well as company leadership with strong collaboration and customer service skills. Successful track record of strong project management across a series of competing priorities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the company; ability to manage by influence. Strategic mindset with a willingness to be hands on and ensure operational excellence.

Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently

Salaried ranges listed are for full time (40 hour) employees. Additional pay such as incentive, GAP, overtime, and stipends are subject to the rules of each program and may not be available in all locations. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

Minimum Salary/Wage USD $115,000.00/Yr. Maximum Salary/Wage USD $130,000.00/Yr.
