Job Description:
Please note: This is a Hybrid role with the expectation of sitting in our Elmhurst, IL Corporate Headquarters 3x per week.
Under limited supervision, the Compensation Manager is responsible for leading the planning, analysis, administration/maintenance, support, and execution of long-term equity compensation plans, short-term cash compensation plans, and broad-based compensation plans.
The above will be achieved through heavy partnership with Human Resource Business Partners, other areas of Human Resources, and operational leaders to accomplish goals & objectives.
Key Job Responsibilities
+ Partner with HRBPs and operational/business leaders to analyze, develop, execute, and administer/maintain compensation programs (both broad-based and short-term cash compensation programs/plans).
+ Oversee and provide consultation on compensation matters and programs in accordance with the Total Rewards strategy.
+ Lead repeat compensation processes & initiatives such as merit cycles, bonus payout & roll-out cycles, budgeting, salary structure review, and wage compliance.
+ Lead the annual long-term incentive equity payout & roll-out processes, including determining eligible population, what awards are being paid, calculating payout levels based on financial results, calculating dividends earned & weighted prices, preparing communications & training, and communicating awards.
+ Develop and execute improvements related to compensation plan design, administration, delivery, communication, and record keeping within the HR information system.
Education and/or Experience Required
+ Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
+ 5 years of related experience developing, administering, and supporting compensation programs.
Required Skills/Abilities
+ Strong Microsoft excel, word, and powerpoint and Google Sheets, docs, and slides experience
+ Great written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to build strong relationships and partnerships
+ Strong knowledge of broad-based compensation, short-term cash compensation, and equity compensation methodologies and principles.
+ Great attention to detail, and strong math & statistics skills
Other Requirements
+ Ability to work on a laptop or personal computer for extended periods of time
+ Ability to use standard office equipment on a regular basis (phone, printer, etc)

Compensation Details:
Expected Pay Range:
$93,000 - $153,000 / Year
Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
Supplemental Pay:
This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
