Airswift would like to invite an experienced Company Site Representative with a background in upstream construction to consider a contractual engagement with one of our clients in Papua New Guinea.
The key objective is to be in charge for Early Works and Infrastructures Construction phase of the project and to execute/deliver the Early Works and Infrastructures Package in accordance with Project development Contract strategy with HSE responsibilities on site.
Responsibilities: Manage, with the EPCM Construction Manager, the EPC Contractor during execution phase to ensure construction delivery meets the project’s expectations. Responsible to manage, evaluate and challenge the EPC contractor performance on weekly basis through direct reports Responsible to provide oversight of EPC Contractor performance/productivity including Health and Safety, Environmental, Community Relations, Quality assurance, Schedule and Cost including measurable items Ensure that the EPC contractor effectively manages the Subcontractors to perform Construction works in accordance with the approved plans and specifications Agree on mitigation actions with EPCM and EPC contractor and escalate when required Ensure that accurate daily records of EPC Contractor/Subcontractors activities are kept and promptly notify the project control team of any issues that may have commercial implication (Claims) Support the contract team in the administration of EPC Contract Liaise with HSE, Quality and Logistics teams Assist in trouble shooting the resolution and escalation of Construction problems/issues on Site including to technical and logistic matters Provide prompt communication to relevant entity of the Project Team of issues, anomalies and escalate where appropriate Ensure that the EPC contractor effectively implements the Community relations plans, and that the Subcontractors maintain a good relationship with Communities on the site, if any S/he shall implement the Company Management System and is in charge of Risks Management, Emergency Response and leads teams in HSE matters Support and enforce project guidelines and HSE objectives On Contractors sites, participate to the Job Safety Analysis, make suggestions, stop dangerous situations, and report anomalies and dangerous acts Ensures that the biodiversity, the environment, waste management, the footprint is properly managed as per plans Proactively coach, train, implement personnel policy in your team to ensure their results are in line with company targets and to develop a positive social climate. Accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behavior regarding HSSE rules & requirements and for ensuring that HSSE requirements are duly implemented within his area of responsibility. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction field 15+ years professional experience in Oil and Gas projects 15+ years experience in the same or equivalent position with managerial responsibilities Mandatory trainings for site manager: Company Trainings: HSE Management on site (Company “GSES” training), Human & Risks Factors; external trainings Major Emergency Management – Initial Response (MEMIR OPITO certified)- Some trainings can be done after mobilization
