Project Communications Officer

Location: Melbourne CBD
Contract Duration: 12 months

About the Role

The Project Communications Officer delivers high?quality, consistent and strategic communication support across RWE’s Australian development portfolio, covering wind, solar and battery projects. The role ensures clear, accurate and accessible communication aligned with project milestones and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement communication strategies across multiple projects.

Produce clear, high?quality content (newsletters, fact sheets, FAQs, website updates, event materials).

Translate technical information into accessible messaging for diverse audiences.

Coordinate design, branding and production of communication materials.

Support engagement activities, events and consultation sessions.

Maintain consistent messaging and assist with issues?sensitive communications.

Key Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in Communications, PR, Journalism or similar.

Experience in communications (infrastructure, energy or government preferred).

Strong writing, content development and organisational skills.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver high?quality work.

Experience with renewable energy or major projects is advantageous.
