Overview SOSi is actively seeking a Community Resource Manager to support our customer’s mission and provide overall management for providing care and services at Rapid Track Shelter site(s) in Massachusetts. Essential Job Duties Support the Site Operations Manager and Program Director by identifying, engaging, and developing partnerships with community organization. Coordinate, engage, and monitor all volunteer activities taking place at the sites; foster relationships with volunteers/volunteer groups Develop relationships with, and cooperate with, various community providers in order to access services for guests. Maintain a network of resources, services and programs offered for the guests in the community. Develop, update, and maintain e-bulletin board software with available resources identified. Train and support site staff in the use of community resource software used. Work independently; prioritize tasks, and collaborate with managers and staff within and with other departments. Support an environment of collaboration, communication and teamwork between operations and services staff. De-escalate crises and support staff in de-briefing difficult situations. Respond to emergencies as needed. Ensure personnel issues are addressed timely and in collaboration with the Project Management Office and other requisite staff. Collaborate with Program Manager and Site Operations Director to identify staff training needs and to facilitate training programs. Establish and ensure that monitoring of recordkeeping is occurring within the program. Ensure guest information is kept private in accordance with customer policies, procedures, and practices, and as required by law. Collaborate with the Project Management Office team to ensure systems are in place for quality assurance. Coordinate the drop-off and pick-up of donations as well as inventory of supplies (both donated and purchased) for the site. Foster relationships with volunteer groups and community organizations. Provide support to the director on program-wide oversight of all inputs, outputs and outcomes associated with program performance. Hold operational meetings as required to discuss operations and support personnel performance in order to identify program deficiencies and propose potential solutions. Assist with the development of systems, processes and tools to enhance program performance. Maintain communication with program support staff setting program goals and objectives by assisting the various supporting teams to establish operational policies and procedures to enhance program operations. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in education, psychology, sociology or other relevant behavioral science. Must have at least five (5) years of progressive employment experience with a social services or childcare Agency or organization. Ability to act responsibly, professionally, and use good judgment under pressure required. Ability to multitask in fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Excellent interpersonal and staff management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience and/or training in state or national-level operated shelters is preferred but not required. Experience working with immigrant populations and child welfare is preferred but not required. Bi-lingual fluency in Spanish and English is preferred but not required. Work Environment Work in a fast-paced environment and remain emotionally controlled. Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365. Inside and outside, all weather conditions. Travel throughout the U.S. as needed.
