Community Relat. Coordinator
Description We are looking for a dedicated Community Relations Coordinator to join our team in Humble, Texas. This part-time role focuses on supporting employee engagement initiatives, with a primary emphasis on ticket distribution and administrative tracking. As a highly customer-facing position, it requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and strong organizational capabilities. This is a long-term contract opportunity designed for a dependable individual who thrives in a detail-oriented environment. Responsibilities: • Facilitate the distribution and tracking of event tickets for Houston-area activities, including the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and Houston Astros games. • Manage ticket allocation for regional events, such as Colorado Rockies and Midland Rockhounds games, ensuring accurate documentation. • Maintain detailed records of ticket assignments, confirmations, returns, and usage with precision. • Address employee inquiries and concerns with professionalism, escalating issues when necessary. • Update and manage tracking spreadsheets using tools like Excel to ensure accurate inventory and accountability. • Assist with generating basic reports related to ticket utilization, employee participation, and inventory levels. • Recognize recurring questions or issues and communicate them to improve processes and employee engagement. • Support continuous improvement by identifying gaps in ticketing or administrative workflows. • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless distribution and alignment with organizational goals. Requirements • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, demonstrating strong service skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. • High attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. • Basic proficiency in Excel for data entry and maintaining accurate records. • Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to consistent availability. • Ability to respond professionally to inquiries while managing competing priorities. • Familiarity with advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables and formulas, is a plus. • Experience with data analytics or engagement reporting is preferred.
