The main Purpose of this Community Help Desk Facilitators is Facilitate the planning and implementation of all WFP activities in line with Complaints and Feedback Mechanisms (CFM) minimum standards by closely working with program team, commodity staff and stakeholders at woreda level. Ensure the complaints are identified, received and respond as per the minimum CFM. Lead and facilitate the establishment of CFM platforms, awareness creation for project participants on their entitlement, targeting criteria, where and When distribution is takes place etc.
Recommend functional and practical CFM solutions and processes based on key stakeholder responses and interactions. Maintain a strong and smooth relationship with woreda and Kebele /Center level major stakeholders in planning and implementing the program as per minimum standards
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the establishment of proper Feedback mechanism platforms at FDP levelFood Assistance Activities will be implemented as per the minimum standardLead and capacitate the community help desk (CHD committee in pre, during post distributionOn time detection and response for any type of food assistance related complain will be improvedCreate awareness for project primary participants on over all Food Assistance, role and responsibilities of each actor in the whole process of the assistanceParticipants will be well aware about the program and creates smooth implementation of the programCompile and report using available (digital and paper based) finding reports as per the reporting time lineQuality and on time reports will be shared and use as an input for program designMaintain a strong and smooth relationship with woreda and Kebele /Center level major stakeholders in planning and implementing the programStrong partner work relationship will be built particularly with local Woreda government partners and the lead. It is also believed in unity for adhering strong partner relationship with government WFP team.Maintain and demonstrate a decent and respectful manner in serving the target community and in interacting with the society in general.Food distribution activities preformed with high moral standards and project participants satisfied with the service rendered from such a staffQualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
Educational level required:
BA/BSc Degree in Sociology, Social Science, Social work, Gender studies, Disaster Management, Rural Development, Economics & Dev’s. Studies and any other related field of studies with minimum of five (2) years of experienceExperience:
At least 2 years relevant experience in Gender, child protection and safeguarding program design and management.Experience with and knowledge of mainstreaming protection in food assistance, protection and gender integration, and protection mainstreaming.Good knowledge of concepts, approaches, and application of gender marker, safeguarding policies and best practices in gender integration and protection mainstreaming.Additional Requirements:
