Job Description A healthcare provider in Houston, TX is looking for a Registered Nurse who will be very heavily community-focused position with the overall aim of promoting community wellness through health promotion, education, screening, and licensed independent practitioner-supervised intervention activities. The Registered Nurse provides general education in the pertinent areas of primary care and preventive care by utilizing standard nursing concepts and skills. Primary areas of focus include cancer prevention, women’s health, reproductive health and sexual health and chronic disease management. Skills and Requirements • Bilingual in English/Spanish required (Written/Spoken) • An active, unrestricted Texas RN license • At least two years of experience in a community health setting (Family Practice/OBGYN) • Certified in CPR and AED • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required.
