Join Us in Transforming Communities with Love and Compassion
Anglicare is seeking a passionate and visionary Community Development and Insights Manager to lead our new Place-based Services Project in Mount Druitt. This is more than a job—it’s a calling to make a lasting impact in a marginalised community through love, compassion, and strategic innovation.
In late 2024, Anglicare launched a small project to explore place-based community development opportunities. A second phase, 12-month pilot project has now been approved to develop an approach to community-led work in Mt Druitt, listening deeply and walking alongside community members and local partners. This project, focused on a ‘Community Connection and Learning Action Plan’, will deliver a clear approach for long-term, committed place-based work after the initial year. As the leader of a small team, you will oversee the Community Connection and Learning Action Plan, develop a strategy and model for future place-based services, and engage internal stakeholders and the community in a transformative journey. You will lead a specialized team partnering with local churches and community connectors to develop and refine our model for community development, laying the groundwork for long-term presence and impact in Mt Druitt while being sensitive to our current phase. Occasional weekend or evening work may be required.
