As Community communication & support officer, you are part of the PMO Means & Methods team. Our team exists out of 12 professionals, mainly focused on two topics: the project management competence center (PMCC) & D&E leadership community and technology conference. Sparked by the rapid growth of ASML over the last decade, the retention and transfer of knowledge and experience has become more challenging. Setting up communities and competence centers is seen as a successful method to help onboard new colleagues and boost (practical) learning & knowledge transfer.
Role & ResponsibilitiesAs Community communication & support officer you are responsible for the set-up and execution of our communities’ and PMCC communication. You enable project management professionals within ASML to connect, share and learn together on their PM profession. We do this by hosting PM community events, providing training and coaching and by providing tools, templates and standards. Next to this, you stimulate learning by organizing and facilitating activities and interventions for the D&E leadership community, including ASML’s biggest Tech conference (over 5000 visitors).
In this role, you are:
The communication lead of the Project Management Competence Center (PMCC): responsible for designing and executing the PMCC communication strategy, including managing communication channels such as SharePoint and newsletters
Responsible for structuring, maintaining and improving the content of the PMCC SharePoint and other information sources
Supporting our community leads in setting up and executing a communication plan for the D&E leadership communities
Member/Lead of the communication workstream of the Tech Conference program
Supporting the deployment of PMO Means & Methods solutions towards PMO, D&E and ASML as a whole
Education and experienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in communication
3+ years of corporate business experience and experience in communication, setting-up and executing communication strategies
3+ years of experience in maintaining and setting up digital sharing platforms (SharePoint e.d.)
Experience and affinity with project management and event management is a pre
