Help at Home is hiring a Community Care Senior Associate for our Walmart-based hub at 4650 S Emerson Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46203!
Hours: Monday-Friday 9a-5p, Saturday 9a-3p (Overtime eligible)
Job Summary:
The Community Care Senior Associate serves as a trusted resource and frontline representative of Help at Home within our Walmart-based hub. This role focuses on welcoming and guiding prospective Clients, their families, and potential Caregivers by providing a clear understanding of the services we offer. In addition to introducing home care options, the Senior Associate helps connect individuals with valuable community resources such as Medicaid Waiver programs, Home health Aide (HHA) services, and Direct Support Professional (DSP) services. The Senior Associate also plays a key role in caregiver engagement. They meet with prospective Caregivers to share what it means to work with Help at Home, explain the types of services we provide, highlight our locations and community reach, and connect them with the recruiting team to move forward in the hiring process. As a knowledgeable and approachable point of contact, the Senior Associate ensures that every person who visits the hub feels supported, informed, and confident in navigating their next steps. This role also aids with market-level tasks as needed, ensuring smooth operations and strong community presence for Help at Home.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Required Skills/Abilities:Ability to guide, support, and motivate peers while fostering a collaborative environment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain services clearly, build trust, and provide compassionate support to prospective Caregivers and representing Help at Home in a professional, welcoming manner.Familiarity with Medicaid Waiver Programs, HHA Services, DSP Services, or willingness to learn quickly.Resourceful in handling challenges, prioritizing competing tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow across Client, Caregiver, and Operational function.Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) and comfortable learning company specific systems.Clear written and verbal communication for interacting with Clients, Caregivers and Leadership teams.Ability to represent Help at Home's mission and values with professionalism.Ability to work overtime and weekends as required by operational needs.Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GED required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.2-3 years of experience in client services, community outreach, recruiting, or operations support required.Prior experience in healthcare, homecare, or human services required.
