Community and Activities Co-Ordinator - Restart
Location
We are looking for an engaging and enthusiastic Community and Activities Co-Ordinator to join our team. This role is part time (24hrs a week) and a FTC of 9 months. It is based in our Southampton office with possible travel to our other offices in Hampshire. It can be split over 5 days or 3 full days, but the days must remain consistent.
Primary Duties and responsibilities:
The primary duties of this role will include creating and developing links and relationships within local community organisations and groups; running activities such as walking groups, taking people to join the library, or engage in free activities that are running within the community to build peer support links and routine; arranging and hosting informal coffee mornings and collaborating with our employment advisors to nurture customer growth, engagement and development.
Develop strong relationships with community members, partners and organisations.Design and implement activities tailored to the needs and interests of our customers.Develop and implement strategies to engage our caseload and link in with the local community and activities creating a wide circle of supportDevelop and maintain a community calendar of events and activities.Provide one to one and group support, guidance and referrals to relevant services for our customers.Support in building a positive mindset towards work and in overcoming barriers.Skills and experience:

Project Overview and Role:
The Restart programme offers enhanced support to Universal Credit claimants who have been out of work for at least 6 months to find jobs in their local area. Started in June 2021, it will benefit more than 1 million Universal Credit claimants who are expected to look for and be available for work but have no sustained learnings. The scheme provides up to 12 months of tailored support for each participant. Palladium works with employers, local government, and other partners to deliver tailored support for individuals.
The salary for this role is: £15,724.80 (FTE -£26,208) per annum
