We’re looking for a skilled Communications Technician II to join a growing team in a lead role. If you’ve got at least two years of experience in telecom or low-voltage work and are ready to take the next step, this could be a great fit. What You’ll Be Doing + Pull and install 4" Microduct and follow labeling standards + Perform cable testing (continuity, tone set, volt-ohmmeter) and troubleshoot issues like opens, shorts, and crossed pairs + Identify active voice and data circuits + Lead small crews, coordinate daily tasks, and help train junior techs + Read and interpret blueprints and project documents + Ensure safety and quality standards are met across all work + Work in a construction environment—indoors and outdoors + Take on other tasks as needed to support the team What You Bring + Positive attitude and strong work ethic + Ability to lead and communicate clearly with team members and customers + Solid problem-solving and critical thinking skills + Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces + Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move up to 75 lbs + Willing to travel within the branch or regional territory as needed + Reliable attendance and professionalism Top Skills We’re Looking For + Cable terminations (Cat6, RJ45) + Troubleshooting and testing + Rack and stack + Structured cabling and punchdowns + Install and repair of voice/data lines Requirements + High school diploma or GED + Minimum 2 years of telecom or low-voltage experience + Ability to supervise and lead a small team + Familiarity with universal telecom color codes + Must meet company driving standards Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00/hr.
