RWJBarnabas Health is hiring for a Communications Operator position for Monmouth Medical Center. This is a Per Diem position.

Essential Functions:

Relays incoming and outgoing calls, monitors operations of telephone and paging systems, and ensures that telephone equipment is in working order - reporting any issues.Monitors emergency alarms, and communicates medical and other information to authorized recipients.Ability to operate the paging system, sound alarms, and announce medical codes / disasters / other emergencies in accordance with institutional policies.Works collaboratively on Performance Improvement initiatives to improve the Telecommunications Department for the organization.
