As a Communications Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing high-impact content that elevates our executive voice, sharpens our point of view, and fuels the narratives that define the future of Compute. You’ll partner closely with product marketing, executive leaders, and the broader communications team to create standout content and manage its delivery from idea to execution. equal parts writer and orchestrator. You’ll ghostwrite bylines, keynote scripts, and strategic messaging, while also managing reviews, timelines, and stakeholder alignment for our most visible communication programs. Some other responsibilities will include:Develop and drive Cisco Compute’s thought leadership content strategy—aligned to our business priorities, market moments, and advancements in AI technologies and solutions.Write clear, compelling content including keynote scripts, blog posts, customer and partner narratives, and help with internal communications for senior executives.Bring clarity and cohesion to our most strategic narratives—from AI to infrastructure to the future of secure computeShape and strengthen our executive voice across channels and platforms.Manage the content creation lifecycle: from intake and drafting to review coordination, stakeholder feedback, and publishing.Partner with product, marketing and broader communications teams to source inputs, align messaging, and maintain editorial quality.Monitor industry trends and identify whitespace for proactive storytelling.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field with 6 + years of experience in content development, product marketing or communications. Experience in professional writing, including the ability to tailor tone and structure for specific business audiences and objectives.Hands on experience at translating technical and complex topics into accessible, human stories.Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, including tracking progress, meeting deadlines, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications You have a packaged portfolio or work samples to help showcase your work. Background in B2B tech marketing, product marketing, or corporate communications.Agency background is a plus.
