Join ASML’s Global Communications department, within the Strategic Sourcing, Supplier & Operations Strategy team, and help shape how we communicate strategic initiatives across the organization. This team supports leaders in vocalizing their strategic goals to tangible actions. As a Communications Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in internal and external communications, stakeholder engagement, and strategic content creation within a dynamic global environment.
You will contribute to impactful communication initiatives that align with ASML’s strategic goals and strengthen awareness. Key deliverables include:
Supporting the execution of communication strategies across sourcing and operations teams.Creating engaging content such as articles, newsletters, social media posts, scripts, and presentations.Collaborating with team members to align messages with audience needs.Assisting in planning and executing internal campaigns and events.Monitoring and reporting engagement metrics to improve future communication plans.Developing visual and multimedia assets such as infographics, short videos, and branded templates.Helping map stakeholders and tailor communication strategies for different audiences.Documenting internal events and drafting post-event summaries or follow-up communications.This is an internship (non-thesis) with a minimum duration of 6 months. It requires a investment of 4 days per week (32 hours), out of which you are expected to be 3 days on-site in Veldhoven. The start date is set to be in February 2026.
To be a perfect fit for this assignment, you:
Are currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.Have strong English writing skills and an interest in developing copywriting expertise (both long- and short-form).Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.Have an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret engagement data and optimize content strategy.Demonstrate awareness of or affinity with cross-cultural communication practices in a global context.
Other requirements you need to meet
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to be able to perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
