**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Communications Installation Engineer.** This position is **onsite** in **Norfolk** **, VA** **.** **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Support team members and perform required communication equipment integration or installation of communication systems equipment, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and use of test equipment as required + Install, configure, integrate, troubleshoot, and manage HF, UHF, SATCOM, radio communications suites and associated network and cryptographic equipment deployed + Performance of preventative maintenance and troubleshooting or assessment of electronic equipment + Work alongside engineers to design, build and test solutions to a variety of technical problems + Analyze operations and offering suggestions for improvement + Perform field validations of various watercraft and equipment + Perform work between customer sites, shore sites, and/or on ships + Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS if necessary (ex. Spain, Japan, Hawaii, Guam) **Minimum Requirements:** + Associates degree in related field and 4 years of experience or equivalent education and years of experience in lieu of degree + Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) services at both Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Outside Contiguous United States (OCONUS) locations + Must have technical experience with AC/DC circuits + Must have experience with HF/VHF/UHF installation/troubleshooting + Must have experience with RF Connectors **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with HF/VHF/UHF radio systems RF test equipment + Experience with JIRA/Confluence + NAVSEA Certified in Fiber Optic Termination + Tower Climber Certified **Clearance Requirements:** + Must be US Citizen and have an active Secret security clearance + Must be eligible to obtain a CAC card **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to lift and carry 50 Lbs. + Work extensive time in stationary positions. + Climb and descend ladders ManTech International Corporation, as well as its subsidiaries proactively fulfills its role as an equal opportunity employer.
