What this job involves:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Communications & AI Enablement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing internal building-level and organizational communications, and for creating and enabling AI-powered resources that help the broader team produce high-quality written communications independently. The ideal candidate brings exceptional writing ability, a sharp editorial eye, a passion for leveraging AI tools to scale communication quality, and an unwavering commitment to accuracy in every deliverable. You will draft, edit, and proofread a wide range of communications materials, review all outgoing communications for grammatical accuracy, consistency, tone, and brand alignment before distribution, and maintain and enforce brand voice, style guides, and editorial standards across all communication channels. This role requires you to develop and maintain AI-powered chat agents and self-service tools that enable team members to independently draft, structure, and refine high-quality written communications, while providing training and support to help colleagues effectively leverage AI tools for drafting and editing communications.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Draft, edit, and proofread a wide range of communications materials, reviewing all outgoing communications for grammatical accuracy, consistency, tone, and brand alignment before distributionMaintain and enforce brand voice, style guides, and editorial standards across all communication channels, coordinating with cross-functional teams to gather accurate information and ensure messaging is consistent and error-freeEnsure timely delivery of communications with zero tolerance for factual or typographical errors, proofread and fact-check materials produced by other team members prior to final approvalIdentify and correct inconsistencies, ambiguities, or inaccuracies in communications before they reach their intended audience, monitoring and tracking communications metrics and compiling detailed reports with precise data analysisDevelop and maintain AI-powered chat agents and self-service tools that enable team members to independently draft, structure, and refine high-quality written communicationsDesign and iterate on AI-assisted writing resources including prompt guides, templates, and workflow tools to improve communication quality and consistency across the teamProvide training and support to help colleagues effectively leverage AI tools for drafting and editing communicationsManage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high accuracy standards and taking ownership of deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Required Qualifications:

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to produce polished, error-free contentProven track record of meticulous attention to detail with ability to catch errors others missStrong command of grammar, punctuation, and style guidelinesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high accuracy standardsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems (CMS).

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with internal communications platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Slack, Microsoft Teams)Knowledge of digital communications best practicesExperience building or configuring AI chat agents or generative AI writing tools (e.g., Amazon Q or similar platforms)Experience developing AI-powered resources for enabling team-wide communication qualityTrack record designing and iterating on AI-assisted writing resources including prompt guides, templates, and workflow toolsExperience providing training and support for AI tool adoption across teamsAbility to coordinate with cross-functional teams and gather information from stakeholders at all levelsExperience monitoring and tracking communications metrics with detailed data analysis capabilitiesBackground in internal building-level and organizational communicationsStrong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines without sacrificing quality.
