**Job Description**
AECOM has an excellent career opportunity for a creative, strategic **Communications, Reporting and Performance Management Specialist** to support a global infrastructure and investment activity focused on accelerating project development and mobilizing private capital. The U.S. Department of State (DOS) funded Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGI) Fund Task Order serves as a platform providing infrastructure transaction advisory services and technical assistance on a flexible, rapid response basis for public or private sector projects in target corridors
The Communications, Reporting, and Performance Management Specialist plays a central role in shaping PGI communications for internal and external audiences, including DOS and other U.S. Government agencies, host government counterparts and other stakeholder, development finance organizations, and the private sector. The position emphasizes clear storytelling, professional presentation, and results-focused project reporting, translating complex project information and performance data into compelling narratives that demonstrate progress, value, and impact.
**Key Responsibilities**
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
**Communications and Storytelling**
+ Develop clear, engaging written products including executive summaries, presentations, briefs, success stories, project profiles, and thought-leadership content.
+ Craft narratives that explain infrastructure transactions, project development milestones, and investment readiness in a concise, audience-appropriate manner.
+ Support internal and external communications and outreach activities such as website content, social media posts, press releases, talking points, and investor-facing materials.
+ Translate technical, financial, and regulatory information into accessible language for non-technical audiences.
+ Ensure consistent tone, messaging, and visual identity across all communications materials.
**Reporting and Performance Tracking**
+ Prepare structured internal and client-facing reports and project deliverables that summarize activity progress, technical milestones, and outcomes.
+ Manage light-touch performance tracking in support of the project’s monitoring and evaluation approach, focusing on milestones, outputs, and results rather than compliance-driven reporting.
+ Develop and maintain simple tools, templates, and processes to collect and organize qualitative and quantitative information from technical teams.
+ Synthesize performance data into clear visual formats such as charts, dashboards, and infographics to support decision-making and communications.
+ Support learning and adaptive management by highlighting trends, lessons learned, and emerging results.
**Coordination and Quality Control**
+ Coordinate closely with technical, commercial, and management teams to gather inputs and ensure accuracy and consistency across communications products and project deliverables
+ Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment.
+ Support event planning and internal communities of practice
+ Maintain a consistent tone, style, and branding in all communication materials that are 508 compliant and adhere to the client’s branding and marking guidelines.
+ Maintain high editorial standards for clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, international development, business plus eight (8) years of experience or related experience.
+ Experience with USAID and/or DOS policies, procedures, branding and marking and reporting requirements.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 15 plus years of international development or foreign assistance experience, including supporting project communications for US federal contracts.
+ Experience supporting infrastructure, energy, transportation, digital, or investment-related projects, particularly in a private-sector, consulting, or transaction-focused environment.
+ Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical or financial concepts clearly to senior decision-makers and external audiences.
+ Strong professional writing and editing skills, with experience producing executive-level materials.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience creating polished presentations is essential.
+ Familiarity with visual communication tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, data visualization software) preferred.
+ Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
+ Comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams and synthesizing inputs from technical specialists.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $140000 to $160000.
