**Job Description** The selected applicant will provide technical support of Communications-Electronics (C-E) equipment, systems, subsystems, and ancillaries in fixed/mobile communications facilities/platforms for the Department of Defense (DoD), US Special Operations Forces (SOF), and other government agencies as directed. Technical support services may include evaluation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, installation, integration, and modification of C5ISR systems and equipment. Additional tasks would include assemble components and subassemblies following production drawings, fabricate cables, and install equipment into vehicles, boats, ships, or buildings. Travel to various US locations may be required, and periodic short-term (<30 days) travel to OCONUS locations may be required. The hourly rate for this position is set by the Dept of Labor and is not negotiable. Current rate is $36.22/hr. This position is located in San Diego, CA. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.
