Reporting to the Product Management team, the Product Marketing and Communications Team Lead will be primarily responsible for managing internal and external communications and strategically positioning the Payroll Service Center (PSC) solutions in the market, promoting their value proposition to existing and potential customers. He or she will act as a bridge between the product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure optimal adoption, clear differentiation, and sustained growth.
This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about human capital management solutions, with a strong ability to transform complex features into clear and compelling messages, and to orchestrate high-impact product launches.
POSITIONING STRATEGY AND MESSAGING:
- Define and refine the positioning of HR and payroll products based on market needs, target personas, and industry trends.
- Develop compelling communications for various channels (internal and external communications, brochures, presentations, etc.).
- Collaborate on the creation of content and customer case studies to reinforce the credibility of the solution.
COMMUNICATIONS AND COORDINATION:
- Plan, execute, and monitor internal and external communications related to the activities of the Payroll Service Center.
- Supervise and evaluate staff under your responsibility.
- Organize and participate in the onboarding, training, and development of resources.
- Ensure rigorous application of operational communication processes (management of customer notifications, documentation of product updates, newsletters, etc.).
- Coordinate internal stakeholders (product, marketing, sales, customer service) to ensure consistency of messages.
- Supervise resources involved in communication and product marketing activities to ensure smooth delivery of deliverables.
- Manage priorities and deadlines related to communications, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
PRODUCT LAUNCH AND MARKETING:
- Coordinate launch strategies for new features or products in collaboration with the product, marketing, and sales teams.
- Develop customer adoption and engagement campaigns related to new products.
- Monitor performance indicators related to launches (adoption, activation, satisfaction).
SALES SUPPORT AND CUSTOMER SUCCESS:
- Produce sales support tools (presentations, product sheets, battlecards, interactive demonstrations).
- Train internal teams on product benefits and sales arguments.
- Collaborate with customer service to identify friction points and propose improvements.
COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE AND MARKET ANALYSIS:
- Conduct comparative analyses and competitor profiles to inform strategic decisions.
- Participate in the implementation of the competitive intelligence strategy (tools, sources, deliverables).
- Identify opportunities for differentiation and market threats.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing, ideally in the payroll, time management, or HR solutions sector.
- Minimum of two years of team supervision experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of communications.
- Proven experience in marketing strategy and sales support.
- Knowledge of payroll, HR, or human capital management (an asset).
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerBI, MS Dynamics, Pendo (an asset).
- Excellent communication skills in French and English.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Analytical mind, business acumen, and intellectual curiosity.
