Communication and Marketing Manager

Job Summary:

The Marketing & Communications Manager role offers a unique opportunity to blend creative and analytical expertise in fitness and wellness marketing. This position focuses on elevating fitness and wellness programming through strategic planning and execution of live events, virtual fitness offerings, and engaging marketing campaigns. By fostering employee participation and building vibrant fitness communities, this role drives measurable results that enhance wellness and brand presence.

Responsibilities: 

Develop engaging communication materials such as emails, newsletters, blogs, and publications.

Design marketing strategies and social media campaigns, integrating virtual fitness offerings and interactive content.

Ensure all communications align with the client’s brand guidelines and wellness objectives.

Plan and execute social media strategies to grow and enhance the client’s presence on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Expand into emerging social platforms to reach broader audiences.

Monitor and respond to social media comments and queries to foster community engagement.

Collaborate with industry professionals and influencers to build a robust social media network.

Measure campaign success by analyzing key metrics and ROI to improve future strategies.

Leverage technology to track, monitor, and refine marketing efforts for maximum impact.

Research and stay updated on competitor activities and social media trends.

Organize live and virtual events to promote fitness programs and foster wellness community growth.

Train site teams in best practices for internal marketing and social media engagement.

Partner with the client’s communication and marketing leads to ensure cohesive messaging.

Drive innovative solutions that enhance employee wellness and program participation.

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.

3+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or influencer marketing (fitness industry experience preferred).

Strong storytelling ability with a proven track record of activating and growing online communities.

Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven strategies and ROI measurement.

Passion for understanding customer needs and translating insights into engaging content.

Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $24.04/hour to $36.06/hour. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs.
