Roles and Responsibilities
Drive cost out projects and negotiations with suppliers and cross functional teams targeted at achieving annual cost goals.Manage supplier contracts, service agreements and terms and conditions with preferred suppliers to ensure that market trends, supplier performance, and future business needs are aligned.Develop and execute long term regional commodity strategies for a diverse group of suppliers, with varying levels of complexity.Collaborate with global supporting resources (services, engineering, product line, quality, supply chain, and regional teams) to achieve schedule and ensure adequate cycle time to meet timelines.Lead the evaluation and selection of new suppliers, development of existing suppliers, and overall supplier management – with a focus on safety, quality, delivery & cost.Define and drive use of preferred suppliers plus develop alternate sources.Interact with site teams to understand business needs and develop supply chain strategies that optimize total requirements.Develop technical and market expertise in commodity areas.Manage/Negotiate Vendor Recovery cases if they arise.Drive Supplier Scorecard process for Partner Suppliers.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from accredited college or universityMinimum 5 years of sourcing or global supply chain experienceAbility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required, estimated at 20%Desired Characteristics

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this role has variable compensation incentive of 10%.
