Job Details Locations NJ - Elmwood Park Job ID 30714 Description and Requirements General Description: Responsible for processing commissions for Emerson Rogers business. Perform timely and accurate commission processing while adhering to regulatory and business standards.
Responsibilities:Responsible for processing commission statements in accordance with commission deadlines. Resolve payment discrepancies directly with the carrier. Approve new business and policy updates. Provide reports to the Operations team monthly.Research and resolve internal broker inquiries and commission tracker issues. Compare commission data to IT queries. Process and format complex commission statements. Assist in resolving external broker portal commission inquiries.Assist in providing support for the company’s internal and external audit teams.Run and review reports at the start and end of each month.Perform regular system audits to ensure accurate data entry. Create spreadsheets using macros to pull information from different sources.Track commission deposits and payments.Serve as point of contact for commission questions from internal and external sources.Create commission uploads based on information received from insurance carriers.Create and run ad hoc reports.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:3+ years of experience in accounting or finance. Experience in the insurance field a plus.Bachelor’s degree required.Detail oriented with timely, efficient, and accurate administrative and data entry skills.Ability to stay organized and focused in a busy, team environment.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Proficient with Microsoft Excel (data entry, formatting, formulas).Capacity to adapt to evolving regulations and procedures.
