Key Responsibilities:
• Perform full commissioning of wind turbines, including electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Conduct functional and operational tests per commissioning protocols and checklists.
• Perform energization of turbines and related systems (medium voltage and low voltage).
• Upload and configure turbine software and parameters in accordance with OEM guidelines.
• Interface with SCADA systems to ensure data communication and operational readiness.
• Document all commissioning results and provide detailed reports to the Commissioning Lead.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve commissioning issues and faults.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with HSE standards and project safety rules.
• Support integration of turbines into the grid and ensure compliance with grid code requirements.
• Collaborate closely with installation, electrical, QA/QC, and O&M teams.
• Support punch list clearance and final handover to operations.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
• Technical diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control Systems, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in wind turbine commissioning (onshore or offshore).
• Experience with specific turbine platforms is a plus (e.g., Siemens Gamesa, Vestas, GE, Nordex).
• Knowledge of turbine control systems, PLCs, inverters, and SCADA.
