Commissioning & Start Up Manager (C&SU Manager)
Stantec Consulting Services Inc., C&SU Manager (Multiple Positions), Chandler, AZ. Support Commissioning and Start up (C&SU) management of on-site teams to ensure project deliverables follow engineering regulations and standard operating procedures. Support multi discipline engineering teams with detailed design reviews and constructability. Review project, construction, and C&SU management plans. Review and refine C&SU procedures and participate in technical reviews of procurement packages. Provide estimates of C&SU programs for project bids. Develop system scoping documents, turnover packages, schedules, testing procedures, and reports. Review engineering drawings and specifications for testing, flushing, cleaning, and other pre-commissioning functions. Coordinate C&SU site teams and vendor service engineers engaged in all commissioning activities. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). #LI-DNI Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field, and 10 years of related work experience. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept an additional 2 years of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 10 years of experience with the following: Commissioning of rotating equipment including Generators, Motors, Turbines, Pumps, Compressors, Fans, gear boxes, and agitators centrifuges; Process Safety Analysis including Training and competency evaluations, Emergency Response Coordination, Hazard ID, and Risk Assessments; Commissioning of Electrical and Instrumentations systems and automation engineering and programing involving PLC’s, SCADA, DCS, HMI’s, and drive systems; Managing Commissioning and Start up teams or Contractors; Interfacing and critiquing of Engineered drawings, reviewing vendor drawings, and responding to the RFI process; and Development and review of management plans. Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 25%. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
