COMMISSIONING SITE LEADER TOPSIDE SERVICES - OFFSHORE
Join our dynamic team as a Commissioning Site Leader for Topside Services in the offshore oil and gas industry. This is an exciting opportunity to lead commissioning activities in Luanda, Angola, ensuring safety and compliance while driving innovation and efficiency in project execution.
Role Overview Promote a safety culture within the project, leading by example to ensure adherence to HSEQ rules. Ensure safe and ethical working practices are implemented and maintained. Guarantee compliance with state-of-the-art TEPA referential and local laws in all contractual requirements. Anticipate risks associated with PBF activities and manage mitigation actions. Establish and manage activities in alignment with One TOTALENERGIES values, motivating team members to meet project targets. Promote digitalization and innovation while focusing on cost optimization without compromising QHSE objectives. Keep divisional management informed about ongoing activities and advise on HSEQ-related actions. Review and prepare commissioning procedures and OTPs related to topside activities. Ensure timely delivery of all commissioning deliverables as per planning. Assist the Onshore Commissioning Leader in preparing commissioning activities according to OPERCOM™ methodology. Participate in system and sub-system definitions in collaboration with the Commissioning Leader. Review engineering documentation to ensure alignment with TEPA expectations. Witness FAT/EFAT, construction, and pre-commissioning activities related to the discipline. Manage commissioning spare parts and ensure availability of required tools and consumables. Prepare presentations (RLO, JRA) as necessary. Review PTW prepared by the commissioning team and issue PTW if required. Follow-up on Project’s Punch List and propose remedial actions. Ensure compliance of Project’s CTRs & CPY Pre-commissioning teams with CPY referential. Manage green line mark-ups according to project specifications. Review and approve pre-commissioning dossiers at RFC status. Lead, organize, and execute all commissioning activities on site. Report on commissioning activities during DE & onshore/offshore execution. Check progress against planning and recommend corrective actions as needed. Ensure safe commissioning during SIMOPS phases. Manage vendors on site effectively. Oversee the management of the ICAPS© database. Coordinate with FPSO team during commissioning activities for compliance. Assist Project & Site Operation teams during SU phase and punch clearance activities. Skills & Qualifications Experience in Topside Commissioning in TotalEnergies oil and gas fields is mandatory, minimum of 10 years’ experience in Topside Commissioning / with at least 5 years in lead Commissioning role on site Experience in Brownfield & SIMOPS Commissioning is mandatory Experience in EPC project is mandatory Experience of OPERCOM® methodology & ICAPS© is mandatory Experience on preparation of Commissioning procedure and OTP is mandatory Good coordination, transversality, leadership & communication skills Sound organizational ability, with respect for planning & budget(s) Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in commissioning or offshore safety are advantageous. Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore commissioning or related roles.
