We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source a Commissioning Lead. This is a long-term contract role. Please see details below. 

Title: Commissioning Lead
Start Date: ASAP (typically within 1 month notice)
Location: Qatar (Onshore)
Working Schedule: 6 days per week / 10 hours per day

--Experience Required—
Key Job Accountabilities
•    Manage timely delivery of all systems completion’s deliverables (pre-commissioning and commissioning) for Compression Project.
•    Ensures overall commissioning compliance with Projects specifications, procedures, and plans.
•    Develop and manage effective commissioning procedures and tools, and commissioning plans for effective and smooth handover to the operating organization.
•    Work in a project environment to create a culture that encourages everyone to contribute to their best ability every day.
•    Coordinates complex internal and external interfaces including the potential for simultaneous operations (SIMOPS).
•    Clear and concise communications required with PMT members.
•    Leads by example and demonstrates high integrity in all details while sensitive to multi-cultural differences and effective communications with individuals for whom English is second language.
•    Interacts effectively with client Project Teams and Departments to resolve issues that require effective communication, initiative, flexibility, and an ability to influence without authority

--Minimum Requirements--
Qualifications
•    Bachelors Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering

Knowledge and Key Skills
•    8 years experience with large-project commissioning in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
•    Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies.
•    Expert in reading P&IDs, Datasheets, General Arrangement drawings and procedures.
•    Knowledge in projects execution, engineering, operations, pre-commissioning, commissioning and systems completion.
•    Knowledge in compliance with contract requirements including codes and standards, and contract technical specification compliance.
•    Experience with vendors operating in the LNG industry, such as compressors, power generation, control systems, topsides, etc.
•    Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
•    Experience in start-up support to Operation.
