Lead, Mission Critical Commissioning

What this job involves:

Drive excellence in mission-critical commissioning by leading specialized teams, establishing best practices, and ensuring successful project delivery for complex data center environments. This leadership role combines technical commissioning expertise with strategic project management to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Developing and implementing industry-leading commissioning methodologies specifically tailored for mission-critical facilitiesLeading a team of commissioning project managers in a player/coach capacityOverseeing multiple concurrent commissioning projects while directly managing key client engagementsServing as technical authority for complex commissioning challenges and strategic decisionsServing as primary point of contact for high-value client relationshipsEstablishing and maintaining rigorous quality assurance frameworks and verification protocolsCoordinating effectively with contractors, consultants, and internal teamsContributing technical expertise to RFPs, client pitches, and business development initiativesDriving continuous improvement of commissioning processes through innovation and best practice implementation

Desired experience and technical skills:

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field7-10+ years of experience in project management and commissioning within data center/mission-critical environmentsDemonstrated leadership experience in technical team managementAdvanced understanding of commissioning principles and methodologiesComprehensive knowledge of data center infrastructure and critical systemsIn-depth understanding of commissioning processes for complex integrated systemsProven ability to develop and mentor technical professionalsStrong decision-making skills in high-pressure environmentsFlexibility to travel to project sites as required

Preferred:

Experience with industry standards and regulations for critical environmentsProficiency with project management and commissioning software platformsExcellent communication abilities across all organizational levelsStrategic thinking with focus on both tactical execution and long-term planningOutstanding problem-solving and analytical capabilitiesAbility to prioritize effectively across competing demandsCommitment to continuous professional development and industry engagement

Estimated total compensation for this position:

105,300.00 – 210,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
