Commissioning Engineer
Job Description One of Insight Global's clients is looking for a Commissioning Engineer in Philadelphia. The Commissioning Engineer, Storage Operations is responsible for the planning and interfacing with design teams, oversight of commissioning work, acceptance testing, and turnover of battery storage facilities on behalf of the Operations. Skills and Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical preferred), OR related technical experience in similar field.   ○ Able to read and interpret single linen and 3 line diagrams, work with transformers, switch gears, relays, etc.  - 5-7 years’ of experience as a Commissioning Engineer working on medium to high voltage (3kv+)   ○ Industry exp: electrical utilities, independent power producers, or power generation equipment, mining, battery energy storage, utility, or heavy industrial  - Excellent knowledge and application of EHS rules. Ability to understand technical information and design drawings.  - Strong computer literacy in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and various other programs.  - Must possess a valid driver’s license and willing to travel out of state! - Electrical Engineering Degree  - HMI system experience  - Safety experience: Lockout/tagout, Osha 30, NFPA 70 E
