Commissioning Engineer – Rolling Stock will report to Head of Warranty Management. The job responsibilities of the Commissioning Engineer – Rolling Stock include (but not limited to)Lead commissioning activities for rolling stock projects with Indian Railways.. Manage planning, execution, and delivery of electrical components.Understands all the contractual requirement and help in requirement management from Customer perspective and also assist in engineering, manufacturing, testing and installation phases after supports in series supply. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards Providing training and support to maintenance and operational teams on new systemsPrepare and present in monthly reviews to Local Management about commissioning progress.making improvements to, and offering advice about, operational proceduresInvestigating problems and diagnosing and repairing faults.Enable cross functional teams for process & product quality improvement.Address warranty issues related to above components and complaint resolution.Assist bid team in submitting successful bids.Management of risks and opportunities in assigned package and lessons learnt thereof. Adhere to all company policies & procedures.Perform additional duties as needed.Desired Skills:Graduate in Electrical Engineering Should have at least 8-10 years’ experience in rolling stock domain. Experience in Commissioning, Technical Competence and Leading People.Sound knowledge of Electrical and/or Mechanical Components of Rolling stockShould be proficient in English and HindiStrong communication and organizational skillsProficiency in using Microsoft office suite and administrative applicationsWillingness to Travel to Customer Sites up to 20%.
