This internship/working student will give a deep insight into Commissioning team in the Offshore Wind Turbine industry and GE Renewable Energy, as well into planning at different project levels. Candidate will work very closely with Technical Support team, showing your skills and taking responsibility in our team. Preparation of strategic presentations, documentation and reports will also be part of your tasks. Candidate will be expected to recommend and implement process improvements and innovations for administrative processes associated with Commission Documentation activities. This position requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment and execute multiple tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and willing to adapt to changing needs.In the current process of business grow, facing projects with edge technology Offshore Wind Platform (Haliade X) - the Commissioning Documentation Internship will play an important role in the successful execution of projects. Candidate will act as key person for the technical aspects of the commissioning project, with an overall view from Engineer operations. GE Renewable Energy is one of the world's leading offshore wind energy companies, with a portfolio of offshore wind turbines ranging from 6 MW to 14 MW that offer increased value to customers with proven performance, reliability, efficiency and availability.We have invested more than $400 million to develop the Haliade-X, an investment that will also drive down offshore wind farms’ levelized cost of energy helping make offshore wind energy more competitive for our customers. The Haliade-X was the industry’s first 14MW offshore wind turbine to operate and is the only 12+MW offshore wind turbine platform that has been operating for over two years, specifically at its Rotterdam prototype site.

Roles and Responsibilities

Create, Release, Review and Control the documentation for Haliade Commissioning procedures (RAMS - Risk Assessment Method Statement) considering the most up to date Electrical Machinery StandardsCommunication to technicians in the field once the document was release and approved by customerManager/Follow up our Commissioning Document ListCreate a Digital document to technician use in the field.Ability to prepare tests, documentation checklists and test plansFollow Commissioning Strategy to ensure an optimal on time works executionEnsure a proper link and communication between Commissioning and Engineering DepartmentsPropose process improvements to optimize Commissioning Documentation activities.

Essential Criteria

Technical diploma in electro-mechanics, industrial engineering, with similar or equivalent experienceExcellent Microsoft Office Skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook)EDMS system (Electronic Document Management System)Knowledge in electric field, ability to make a site electrical layoutExperience/Knowledge in Wind Turbines in Commissioning or/and ServiceKnowledge of specifications, design, maintenance, construction and commissioning issues applicable to wind energy and the offshore sectorKnowledge of the operation of wind turbine synchronous generators: yaw, cooling circuits, , hydraulic systems, variable frequency drivesEnglish languages [recommended] (Spanish and Portuguese languages [as a plus])Great time management skills to effectively priorities tasksExcellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment or independently on multiple projectsDuration of the internship: 1 year - Full timeWork style: Presence in the office - mainly office work with flexibility of remoteIf contracted in Spain:
