Responsibilities Oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of process plant and upstream facilities. Supervision of subcontract activities at site on behalf of client. Purpose Plan and prepare the pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and scope of work in readiness to commence on-site commissioning activities. Lead a team of engineers and technicians and provide guidance in the preparation of all commissioning engineering including documentation. Prepare all documentation to support handover of all systems to operations according to the plan. Responsibilities Develop commissioning and completions strategies and documentation. Ensure all applicable project safety procedures are prepared. Liaise with the project HS&E group to ensure that all personnel have been adequately trained. Manage and supervise offshore commissioning and associated activities according to the plan. Identify and develop handover procedures. Ensure project quality requirements are met. Identify commissioning priorities and manage the interfaces between mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning requirements. Prepare all commissioning work packs, job cards, drawings, procedures, specifications and documentation to prepare for and plan the offshore scope. Prepare scope descriptions, man-hour and duration estimates to support the development of job cards. Responsible for preparing the offshore schedule of the commissioning activities and then working closely with the planners. Identify specialist training requirements and develop training plan. Provide support to the procurement group in reviewing vendor information and assessing related aspects. Identify all vendors required for the commissioning and organize the vendor plan. Qualifications Technical and industry experience Decent experience in the power generation or similar industry with international EPC contractors. A commissioning engineering professional with extensive experience in relevant industry commissioning projects. A proven track record and demonstrable success in the management of HSE. Strong understanding of construction and completions site HSE requirements. Good appreciation of quality management, materials control and contractual issues. Able to understand and review engineering and construction drawings. Able to develop good working relationships at all levels from field to management. Experienced at working in a multicultural workforce environment. Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and a sound knowledge in relevant software. Moving forward together
